New Cousin

The girls are so in love with their new baby cousin Alaina.  The first day that we met her we thought that Eva was jealous because I was holding someone other than her but it turned out that she was mad because she wanted to hold Alaina.  Both Eva and Emmy continued to love Alaina up until the end of the trip.  It was really sweet.

The Beaches of Lake Winnipeg

Another MB must is heading for the water at any of the many beaches on Lake Winnipeg.  Here are some pics from a few that we hit this summer.

Double Birthday Party!

We had to sneak in a double birthday for the girls at Granny's house while we were there.  Most of the girls' cousins were able to make it out for the party which was great.  And the weather was good so we were able to do it outside which was nice after Emmy's party at home had been rained out.

Tinkertown

A summer trip to Manitoba is never complete without a trip to Tinkertown.  A $15 bracelet to ride all day...sounds like a deal to me!  Highlight of the day...making Eva laugh so hard that she snorted while jumping on the big "pillow"  trampoline.

Meagan's Wedding

While in Manitoba I actually managed to sneak away for a whole day and night from the kids and enjoy my friend Meagan's wedding.  It was a blast.  The weather was hot, the bride was beautiful, and the whiskey was free...what more could a person ask for in a wedding.  :)
